« “Kudos to the Urban Gaming team for their openness, adaptability, creativity and responsiveness. It was a big success for Roche!!!” »
Florence Lacourt Leader de la transformation AgileRequirement
As part of the deployment of the international Agile transformation programme within the Roche Group, our client wanted to develop an ambitious game based on the 6 characteristic behaviours of the Agile method.
The aim was to run a pilot in France (130 managers), and at the same time have it tested and confirmed internationally.

Idea
A collaborative board game to discover the 6 behaviours:
1. Questioning & Challenging,
2. Experimenting & Taking Risks
3. Networked & Collaborative
4. Self-Directed Continuous Learning
5. Trusting & Empowering
6. Pragmatic
The teams have a digital device (IPAD), a game board and a set of cards. Each challenge is divided into 3 main stages:
1. Association game : what definition goes with what behaviour?
2. Challenge or Story : Using image recognition, scan a card to experience an anecdote or challenge related to the Agile mindset!
3. Discussion : What is the behaviour associated with each challenge and how does it impact your daily life?
A great moment of game-based shared experience!
Goals
To create a game that can be easily deployed internationally, allowing people to take on the Agile mindset in a game-based and collaborative way.
The game had to be run independently in-house, with delivery of the game and the brief/debrief elements on a turnkey basis.

Challenges
Outcomes
More than 40 countried and 3000 players all over the world.
It start with an experiment in Paris, and with the sucess of the experiment, it went viral.
