Team Building challenges in Istanbul

The whirling Dervishes say that their dance, the Sema, helps them get closer to God. The participants will have to reproduce this Muslim dance and the talent of each team will be judged during the collective viewing session!

The obelisk of Pharaoh Thutmose III, originally part of the Karnak Temple, was taken to Alexandria before being delivered to Constantinople (Istanbul). For this challenge, you team will have to count how many characters feature on this monolith which nowadays can be seen among the ruins of the old hippodrome.

Hagia Sophia, once a church then a mosque, was turned into one of Istanbul’s museums in 1934. For this challenge, the participants will have to identify on which Roman emperor’s orders it was constructed.

The Blue Mosque, built between 1609 and 1616 during the reign of Sultan Ahmet I, was the first mosque in the world to boast six minarets. For this specific challenge, your team will have to determine the meaning of the word ‘Hajj.’

This 2012 action movie was partly shot in Istanbul. After viewing the video clip, the participants will have to name its title in order to win this particular challenge.
