Game description
Accenture, the leading management and modernization consultancy, has discovered an innovative way to consolidate its reputation and mobilize people: gamification. Indeed, they have developed a game aimed at young graduates who aspire to join their organization.
The aim is to take on the role of an Accenture consultant to assist a fictitious telecoms client, defending its preferences based on evidence and virtual collaborators. In a one-hour time slot, they distill a summary and answer questions from the simulated customer’s managers. This serious game, inaugurated in 2012, encourages a more refined selection of applicants and highlights Accenture’s avant-garde approach. The future collaborators, under the identity of a junior consultant, are forced to manage their time and emotional pressure, and to corroborate their arbitrations with appropriate documents. It’s hard to perceive in a traditional interview, but nevertheless
with this game, it’s much more accessible.
The game follows Accenture’s precepts, immersing applicants in the company’s routine and facilitating their assimilation. It’s also a great communication strategy, as the brand shows off its values rather than its skills through this game. Designed by the Daesign studio, it has already been tested by over 1,000 applicants throughout France.
