School Induction
« A huge thank you to the UrbanGaming team who in record time (less than 2 months) managed to set up an online Escape Game that surpassed our expectations. A perfect mix between educational contribution and games! »

In September 2020, COVID had seriously impacted the organisation of the 1200 students’ induction day.
The university hub has produced a dozen videos to explain how it works.
How could we be sure that the videos were actually watched?
How could we reinforce the positive and innovative image of the hub among students?
Idea
A hybrid concept in two phases. A virtual escape game Each student embodies a secret agent who must wander throughout the hub, in search of a mysterious briefcase. In each room visited, the student has a video meeting with a member of the hub and thereby receives a clue:: a 360° view, chronological challenges, fun, offbeat videos, a series of widely varying challenges. .An amphitheatre game Students gather in small groups of 60 at a time, for an amphitheatre game. It mimics an escape game and helps embed the messages in memory. This is a mix between “Who Wants to Earn Millions” and “The Great Burger of Death” in the “Burger Quizz”. A team goes on stage and each student can help the team members memorise the answers to a series of 10 questions.
Goals
– Promote the memorisation of key information:
– Reinforce the modern, innovative image of the hub among students.
– Communicate on the appealing aspects of the hub.
