The Concept

A collaborative Quest

Hoist the mainsail for this pirate-themed quest!

Armed with their tablet and a pirate sack of accessories, the teams will have to find 4 pictures of the intrepid Captain Crunch’s ship.

Using the technological treasure that is image recognition, participants will embark on an adventure where they’ll face both intellectual and physical challenges.

All to starboard: will you catch the Blue Pearl thief?

The Pitch

Game Scenario

Legend tells that the famous pirate, Captain Crunch, stole Captain Bossabar‘s most beautiful jewel: the Blue Pearl.

But on the way back, the pirate’s ship was caught in a storm and vanished with all its crew.

Today, your mission is to find Crunch’s ship — and pray that the Blue Pearl is still inside…

Briefing

Before the game, our Game Masters explain to the jolly mariners the concept of the game and how to use the tablet. Everyone on deck: participants must all be gathered in the same place.

It is recommended that teams be set up in advance.

Game

Upon arrival, the teams are given a tablet and a briefcase.

To unlock the challenges and be the first to get your hands on the Blue Pearl and its thief, the participants will have to locate and scan each of the 4 visuals of the ship hidden around the host venue.

A clue will be collected from each poster and used for the final stage.

Debriefing

Once the quest is over, the debriefing phase represents a great moment of togetherness for our budding buccaneers.

During the game, the teams were asked to perform several creative challenges (photos/videos): now it’s time to watch them all together.

Splice the mainbrace! It’s now time to watch the teams’’ “masterpieces” — and announce the winners. Note: the losing teams may or may not be asked to walk the plank (plank not included).
